This is a roll of decorative window film made of PET with a static cling backing. There is no glue on the sheet. It holds to the glass by static cling alone, which keeps the surface clean and makes the film easy to move while you work. The finish is stained glass style, so light passes through and the colors stay visible. The view through the glass becomes blurred rather than clear, which gives you semi privacy without blocking the light.
Each pack holds 1 roll. The sheet size is 15.7 x 47.2 in (40 x 120 cm).
| Size | Coverage per roll |
|---|---|
| 15.7 x 47.2 in (40 x 120 cm) | About 5.1 sq ft |
You can cut the roll down to fit smaller panes, so one roll can cover several narrow windows or a single larger pane. Measure your glass first and add a little extra on each side before you trim.
Pick from 13 colors: Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Sea blue, Orange, Grass yellow, Pink, Purple, Dark brown, White frosted, Light green and Gray. The colored options read as stained glass and keep their tone in daylight. White frosted gives a soft, even blur with no strong color. Gray is the quietest of the tinted choices. You can use one color across a whole window or mix a few colors in a pattern for a custom look.
This film is made for flat single or double glazing. It suits home and office windows, door glass, cabinet doors and other flat glass panels. Because it clings without adhesive, it is a good fit for rented spaces and for anyone who wants a change they can undo later. It is not made for curved glass, textured glass or surfaces other than glass.
If you see bubbles, lift that corner and press it back down while the glass is still wet. A second pass with the squeegee usually clears them.
Wipe the film with a soft cloth and mild soapy water. Skip abrasive pads and strong solvents, which can dull the surface. To remove the film, lift a corner and pull it slowly. It peels off without residue, so the glass is ready to use again. You can store the roll flat and reuse it later if it stays clean.
This is a semi privacy film. It blurs the view, but it is not a blackout product and it is not a one-way mirror. At night, with a light on inside, shapes may still be visible through the glass. For full blocking, choose a blackout film instead. Colors can look slightly different from screen to screen, and the tone shifts a little depending on the light behind the glass.
No glue is needed. It is a static cling film, so it holds to the glass on its own. A light spray of plain water helps you position it, and the water dries out over a day or two.
