1 Measure the glass
Measure each pane inside the frame, not the frame itself. Add 0.8 in (2 cm) on every edge for trimming. The calculator above does this for you.
2 Spray, place, smooth
Mist the clean glass with water. Peel off the clear backing, slide the film into place, then squeegee from the center out and trim the edges.
3 Peel off when you move
Lift a corner and peel. Static cling uses no adhesive, so nothing is left on the glass. Keep the backing if you want to store the film.

Questions about window film and tiles

How much film do I need?

Measure each pane inside the frame and add 0.8 in (2 cm) on every edge. A roll at least that wide avoids joins. Roll lengths run from 39.4 in (100 cm) to 32.8 ft (10 m), depending on the film: a 78.7 in (200 cm) roll gives at least two pieces for panes up to 37.8 in (96 cm) tall, and a single piece for panes up to 77.2 in (196 cm).

Will it give me privacy at night?

Frosted film blurs the view both ways, day and night, but a silhouette can show when someone is close to the glass. One-way mirror film works by day only: with lights on inside at night, people can see in. Stained glass film gives semi privacy at most.

Can I remove the film when I move?

Yes. Static-cling film peels off gently from a corner with no adhesive residue. Tiles are different: removal depends on the wall and can damage paint, so test first and check your lease.

Will it work on my window?

It needs clean, smooth, flat interior glass. It won't sit evenly on textured, patterned or damaged glass. Check coatings and warranty with your glazing manufacturer first.

How do I get rid of air bubbles?

Lift the section while it is still wet, add water and smooth from the center to the edge with a soft squeegee. Tiny water pockets settle with time.

Can the tiles go behind a stove or in a shower?

Beside a stove, yes: most of our tile sheets list the kitchen backsplash behind a counter or stove as a common spot, and splashes wipe away with a damp cloth. They don't replace a heat shield, though. In a shower, keep them above the splash zone and away from standing water.

How much is delivery?

Can I return it?

Yes, within 30 days of delivery if it is unused, uncut and in its original packaging. Cut film and installed tiles can't be returned for a change of mind.
