Marble Peel and Stick Backsplash Paper

What this marble contact paper is

This is a self-adhesive sheet of PVC vinyl printed with a marble or stone look. You peel the backing and press it onto a smooth surface. No glue, no grout, no tools beyond a cloth and a card to smooth it down.

It is made for backsplashes, but it also works on smooth walls, tile, glass, metal and wood. Use it in a kitchen, a bathroom, a laundry room or a rental where you want a new surface without a permanent change.

The surface is waterproof and oil resistant, so splashes and cooking spatter wipe off. Clean it with a damp cloth.

Sizes

Each sheet is 15.7 in (40 cm) wide. Pick the length that fits your space.

Measure your backsplash or wall first. Add a little extra so you can trim the edges clean. For a wide wall, order two or more sheets and line up the pattern at the seam.

Colors and styles

There are 15 options:

Glossy white and matte white are plain finishes. The rest carry a marble or stone print. White and gold marble and Black and gold marble have gold veining. Gray stone and Gray marble are cooler tones. Cream marble and Beige marble are warmer.

How to fit it

1. Clean the surface. It must be smooth, dry and free of dust or grease.
2. Measure and cut the sheet a little larger than the area.
3. Peel back a few inches of the backing.
4. Press the top edge into place.
5. Peel the rest of the backing away as you smooth the sheet down with your hand or a soft cloth.
6. Push out air bubbles from the center to the edges.
7. Trim the extra with a sharp knife or scissors.

For a seam, overlap the two sheets slightly and cut through both layers at once. Pull away the offcuts and press the seam flat. This keeps the pattern lined up.

Let the sheet sit for a few minutes, then press the edges again. On a fresh painted wall, wait until the paint is fully cured.

Where it works

Use it on a kitchen backsplash behind a counter, on a bathroom wall, inside a cabinet, on a shelf, or on a table top. It fits smooth walls, tile, glass, metal and wood.

It is not made for rough brick, textured plaster, or a surface that sheds dust. It also does not replace a heat shield behind a stove. Keep it away from open flame and hot pans.

Care

Wipe the surface with a damp cloth. For grease, use a mild soap and water, then wipe dry. Do not scrub with an abrasive pad or use strong solvents. A soft cloth keeps the print and the finish intact.

If you need to remove it, lift a corner and pull slowly. Warm air from a hair dryer on low can help on a cool day. Any sticky residue wipes off with a damp cloth.
