What this marble contact paper is

This is a self-adhesive PVC vinyl roll printed with a marble pattern. The backing sticks to smooth surfaces when you press it down, so you can line a shelf or cover a cabinet door in minutes. No paste, no water tray, no waiting.

The vinyl surface wipes clean with a damp cloth, which makes it a practical pick for kitchen cabinets, shelf liner, drawer bottoms and other spots that see daily use. When you are ready for a new look, the roll peels off without residue on smooth painted walls, tile and glass.

Sizes and coverage

Each roll is 15.7 in (40 cm) wide. Pick the length that matches your project.

Size Coverage
15.7 x 39.4 in (40 x 100 cm) 4.3 sq ft (0.4 m2)
15.7 x 118.1 in (40 x 300 cm) About 12.9 sq ft (1.2 m2)
15.7 x 196.9 in (40 x 500 cm) About 21.5 sq ft (2 m2)

Measure the surface you want to cover, then add a little extra for trimming and pattern matching. For a full cabinet run, the longer rolls cut down on seams.

Colors and marble styles

Fourteen colorways cover the range from bright to moody:

  • Glossy black marble
  • Glossy white marble
  • Black with white veining
  • White marble with gray veining
  • White marble with light gray veining
  • White marble with gold veining
  • Gray marble
  • Light gray marble
  • Dark gray marble
  • White marble with brown veining
  • Beige marble
  • Cream marble with pink veining

Glossy black and glossy white give a polished, reflective look. The veined whites and grays read softer and more natural. Beige, cream and brown tones warm up a space, while the gold veining adds a quiet metallic line.

Where to use it

The vinyl sticks to smooth painted walls, tile and glass. Common spots include cabinet fronts, shelf liner, drawer bottoms, backsplash areas, table tops, bookcases and rental kitchen updates.

Skip rough, dusty, oily or freshly painted surfaces. Textured walls, unfinished wood and porous stone do not give the adhesive a solid grip. If you are covering a surface near heat or water, wipe it dry first and press the vinyl down firmly along every edge.

How to fit it

  1. Clean the surface and let it dry completely.
  2. Measure and cut the roll a little larger than the area.
  3. Peel back a few inches of backing and press the vinyl into place.
  4. Smooth outward with your hand or a soft cloth to push out air.
  5. Trim the edges with a sharp knife or scissors.
  6. Press along the seams and corners one more time.

For cabinet doors, remove the door and lay it flat if you can. Work from the center outward. If a bubble appears, lift that corner and press it back down slowly.

Care and removal

Wipe the surface with a damp cloth and mild soap when needed. Avoid abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which can dull the print.

To remove, warm the vinyl slightly with a hair dryer on low, then peel from a corner at a steady angle. On smooth painted walls, tile and glass, it comes off without residue. Any sticky spots left behind wipe away with a damp cloth.

Questions

Will this contact paper damage my cabinets or painted walls?

On smooth painted walls, tile and glass, the vinyl peels off without residue. Rough or freshly painted surfaces can grip harder, so test a small corner first if you are unsure.

How much area does one roll cover?

The 15.7 x 39.4 in (40 x 100 cm) roll covers 4.3 sq ft (0.4 m2). The longer rolls cover more, so measure your surface before you choose a size.

Can I use it in a kitchen or bathroom?

Yes. The vinyl surface wipes clean with a damp cloth, so it suits cabinet fronts, shelf liner and backsplash areas. Dry the surface fully before you press the roll down.

Do I need glue or tools to install it?

No glue is needed. The backing is self-adhesive, so you press it on by hand and trim the edges with scissors or a sharp knife.
