What this liner is

This is a roll of EVA foam shelf and drawer liner. EVA is a soft, flexible foam that cushions what you set on it and keeps surfaces from scratching. The roll is 0.04 in (1 mm) thick, thin enough that cabinet doors and drawers still close the way they should.

The diamond grid pattern is embossed into the foam. It adds texture that helps keep plates, glasses, tools and small items from sliding when you open and close a drawer. There is no adhesive on either side. You place the liner down and it stays where you put it.

Sizes

Each roll is 17.7 in (45 cm) wide. Pick the length that fits your space. You can trim the foam with household scissors to fit a shelf, a drawer or a cabinet base.

Colors

Two options are available. Clear diamond grid has a see-through look that lets the shelf surface show through. Black diamond grid gives a darker, more defined pattern that hides crumbs and dust between cleanings. Both use the same EVA foam and the same diamond texture.

Where to use it

Kitchen cabinets and drawers are the most common spot. The foam keeps dishes and glassware from rattling and protects the cabinet floor from scratches. It also works in bathroom vanities, tool chests, desk drawers, pantry shelves and refrigerator shelves.

Because there is no adhesive, you can move the liner from one drawer to another whenever you reorganize. It also works well under a sink, where a removable liner is easier to clean than a fixed one.

How to fit it

Measure the inside of your drawer or shelf. Unroll the liner and let it relax for a short time so it lies flat. Set it in place and trim the edges with scissors if needed. For a drawer, cut the liner slightly smaller than the drawer base so it does not bunch at the corners.

If you are lining several shelves, cut each piece as you go. The foam is easy to mark and cut, and the diamond pattern helps you keep a straight line.

Care

Wipe the liner with a damp cloth to clean it. For a deeper clean, lift the mat out, rinse it and let it air dry before placing it back. Do not put it in a washing machine or dryer. The EVA foam holds its shape and the diamond pattern stays defined with normal use.

Removal

Lift the liner out. There is no glue, so nothing sticks to the shelf and no residue is left behind. This makes it simple to swap liners between drawers or replace one when you want a fresh look.
