What This Floor Plank Roll Is

This is a roll of PVC vinyl flooring with a wood grain print and a self-adhesive backing. You cut a plank to length, peel the liner, and press it onto a clean, flat floor. The vinyl is waterproof, so it stands up to spills, damp mopping, and everyday foot traffic in kitchens, bathrooms, entryways, and laundry rooms.

Because it comes as a roll and not a box of fixed tiles, you can cut the vinyl to fit the length you need. The self-adhesive backing means no glue, no nails, and no special tools.

Size and Coverage

One roll covers 12.9 sq ft (1.2 m2). Measure your floor area first, then divide by 12.9 to see how many rolls you need. Add a little extra for cuts and mistakes.

For a small bathroom or a hallway, one or two rolls often do the job. For a larger room, measure carefully and order the rolls you need in one go.

Colors

Choose the wood tone that fits your room:

  • Light gray wood
  • Gray wood
  • Medium brown wood
  • Light natural wood
  • Dark brown wood
  • Gray wood plank

Light gray and gray wood read cool and modern. Light natural wood and medium brown wood bring a warmer, classic feel. Dark brown wood suits rooms that need contrast against pale walls and light furniture.

How to Fit It

  1. Clear the floor and sweep or vacuum it. The surface must be clean, dry, and flat.
  2. Let the roll sit in the room for a few hours so it relaxes and reaches room temperature.
  3. Measure the length you need and cut the vinyl with a utility knife or heavy scissors. Leave a small margin at the walls, then trim it flush after pressing.
  4. Peel back a few inches of the backing. Press the vinyl down from one end, pushing out air as you go.
  5. Roll or press the whole plank firmly, especially at the edges and seams.
  6. Butt the next plank tight against the first and repeat. Stagger the short ends so the seams do not line up in a row.

The adhesive backing grips smooth, flat surfaces. Work on one section at a time so the vinyl stays aligned.

Care and Cleaning

Wipe the floor with a damp cloth or a mop with a mild cleaner. Avoid soaking the seams and skip abrasive pads, wax, and solvent cleaners, which can dull the finish. Sweep or vacuum regularly to keep grit from scratching the surface. Small scuffs usually wipe away with a damp cloth.

Where It Works

Use this roll in bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, basements, RVs, and offices. It is a practical choice for renters who want a new floor without a permanent install, and for anyone updating a small space over a weekend. Because the vinyl is waterproof, it also works in mudrooms and pet areas where accidents happen.

Questions

How many square feet does one roll cover?

One roll covers 12.9 sq ft (1.2 m2). Measure your floor and divide by 12.9 to find how many rolls you need, then add one extra for cuts.

Is this flooring waterproof?

Yes. The PVC vinyl is waterproof, so it handles spills and damp mopping in kitchens, bathrooms, and laundry rooms.

Can I install it over existing tile or concrete?

Yes, as long as the surface is clean, dry, and flat. The self-adhesive backing grips smooth, sealed floors like concrete, plywood, and existing hard tile.

How do I clean the planks?

Wipe with a damp cloth or a mop and a mild cleaner. Avoid soaking the seams and skip abrasive pads, wax, and solvent cleaners.
