What this floor tile roll is

This is a roll of matte PVC vinyl floor tile with a self-adhesive backing. You cut it to fit, peel the liner, and press it onto the floor. The surface is waterproof and wipes clean with a damp cloth.

The finish is a stone look, so it reads as tile without the grout or the tools. It also works on smooth painted walls, tile, and glass if you want a matching surface above the floor line.

Sizes and coverage

Each roll is 15.7 in (40 cm) wide. Pick the length that matches your space.

Size Coverage
15.7 x 39.4 in (40 x 100 cm) 4.3 sq ft (0.4 m2)
15.7 x 78.7 in (40 x 200 cm) 8.6 sq ft (0.8 m2)

Measure your floor area first, then add a little extra for cuts and edges. For a small entryway or a rental kitchen, one long roll often does the job. For a larger room, count the rolls you need and order them together so the pattern lines up.

Colors and patterns

Four options are available:

  • Light gray stone: a soft, pale gray with light veining
  • Gray white stone: a brighter mix of gray and white
  • Dark gray stone: a deeper gray for a grounded look
  • Blue and brown tile pattern: a warmer, patterned option with blue and brown tones

All four share the same matte PVC vinyl surface and the same self-adhesive backing. The color you pick changes the look of the room, not the way the roll installs.

How to fit it

Start with a clean, dry, smooth floor. Sweep or vacuum, then wipe away any dust or grease. Let the surface dry fully before you begin.

  1. Unroll the tile and let it relax for a bit so it lies flat.
  2. Measure the area and cut the roll to size with scissors or a utility knife. Leave a small margin at the edges, then trim it back once the tile is down.
  3. Peel the backing away a few inches at a time. Press the tile down from the center outward to push out air.
  4. Smooth the surface with your hand or a soft cloth. Work in sections so the tile stays straight.
  5. Trim the edges clean and press them down firmly.

For a wall, tile, or glass surface, follow the same steps. The backing holds on its own, so no glue or tools are needed.

Care and removal

The surface is waterproof, so a damp cloth or a mild household cleaner is enough for everyday marks. Avoid soaking the seams and skip abrasive pads that could dull the matte finish.

When you want a change, lift a corner and peel the tile back slowly. The adhesive releases without residue on most smooth surfaces. If a little tackiness stays behind, wipe it with a damp cloth.

Where it works

This roll suits rentals, apartments, laundry rooms, entryways, and kitchens. It also covers a tired backsplash, a cabinet front, or a shelf. Because it is waterproof, it handles rooms that see moisture, as long as the surface underneath is smooth and dry.

One note on the finish: matte PVC vinyl shows fewer reflections than a glossy tile, so it reads calm under both daylight and lamplight. That makes it a good fit for hallways and small rooms where a bright shine would feel busy.

Before you order

Check two things. First, the surface: it needs to be smooth, clean, and dry. Second, the quantity: each roll covers 8.6 sq ft (0.8 m2) in the long size and 4.3 sq ft (0.4 m2) in the short size. Add a roll for waste if your room has corners, angles, or a lot of cutting.

If you are covering a floor and a wall with the same look, order enough rolls in one go so the color stays consistent across the whole project.

Questions

Does this floor tile roll need glue?

No. It has a self-adhesive backing, so you peel the liner and press it down. No extra glue or tools are needed.

How much floor does one roll cover?

The 15.7 x 78.7 in (40 x 200 cm) roll covers 8.6 sq ft (0.8 m2). The 15.7 x 39.4 in (40 x 100 cm) roll covers 4.3 sq ft (0.4 m2).

Can I use it on a wall or a backsplash?

Yes. It works on smooth painted walls, tile, and glass, as long as the surface is clean and dry.

Will it leave sticky residue when I remove it?

It peels off without residue on most smooth surfaces. If any tackiness remains, wipe it with a damp cloth.
