What you get

One roll of printed vinyl wallpaper with a lightly embossed surface and a self-adhesive back under a peel-off liner. It measures 17.3 in x 9.8 ft (44 x 300 cm) and covers 14.2 sq ft (1.32 m²). The print looks hand painted: small blooms, grasses and leaves scattered across the ground, dense enough to hide minor wall flaws but loose enough to stay light.

Colorways

  • Cream meadow: soft green leaves with pink, orange and blue flowers on cream.
  • Tall wildflower: long stems of red, violet and blue flowers on warm cream.
  • Summer bloom: dense red, pink and blue flowers on white, the brightest of the set.
  • Folk bloom: symmetrical folk-art flowers in teal, blue and orange on white.
  • Blush herb: pale green herbs on a soft pink ground.
  • Teal garden: colorful folk flowers on deep teal.
  • Forest meadow: fine white and pink wildflowers on dark green.
  • Black meadow: bright wildflowers on black, dramatic in a small room.

Screens show color differently, so order all rolls for one wall at the same time and lay them side by side before you start.

How many rolls

One roll covers one strip on a wall up to about 9 ft tall. Divide the wall width in inches by 17.3 and round up, then add one roll for pattern matching and repairs. A wall 10 ft wide takes 7 rolls, and an 8th as a spare.

Hanging it

Clean the wall and let it dry. Draw a plumb line with a level, then peel back the top few inches of liner and line the strip up at the ceiling, leaving about 2 in spare top and bottom. Smooth from the center out with a plastic smoother as you pull the liner down. Match the next strip to the flowers along the edge, butt the seam tight and trim the ends with a sharp knife. Our measure and make guide covers corners, windows and outlets.

Where it works

Use it on smooth, dry indoor walls: bedrooms, living rooms, hallways and home offices. The vinyl face wipes clean, so it also suits a dining nook or powder room away from direct water. It is also a quick way to refresh a dresser front, a bookcase back or cabinet doors.

Keep it out of showers, away from radiators and off the wall behind a stove. It will not hold on textured walls, damp walls or paint that is less than two weeks old.

Questions

Which colorway is the lightest?

Summer bloom and Folk bloom are printed on white and keep a room brightest. Cream meadow and Tall wildflower sit on a warm cream that pairs well with wood and linen, while Teal garden, Forest meadow and Black meadow are deep, moody grounds.

How do I match the pattern between strips?

Hold the next strip against the last one before you peel the liner and slide it up or down until the flowers line up along the edge. Mark the top with a pencil, then hang it. A little of each roll is used for this, which is why we suggest a spare.

Will it come off when I move out?

On sound, cured paint it peels away cleanly when you pull slowly at a low angle. Weak or chalky paint can lift with it, so test a small piece in a hidden spot first if you rent.

How do I get rid of air bubbles?

Lift the strip back to the bubble and smooth it down again from the center outward. For a small bubble that stays, prick it with a pin and press the air out toward the hole.
