This is a PVC mesh film with a self-adhesive backing. You press it onto glass and the backing holds it in place, so there is no paste, no water spray and no extra tools beyond a squeegee or a soft cloth.
The mesh weave does two jobs at once. It blocks glare from bright sun and softens what you see through the glass, which gives you semi privacy rather than a full blackout. Light still passes through, so the room stays bright instead of going dark. It suits flat single or double glazing, which covers most home windows, glass doors and fixed panes.
Each pack holds 1 roll. The sheet is one size, so you can plan coverage before you order.
| Size | Metric | Pack |
|---|---|---|
| 17.7 x 78.7 in | 45 x 200 cm | 1 roll |
One roll covers a strip 17.7 in wide and 78.7 in long. If your glass is wider than that, you can line up two or more rolls side by side and butt the edges together. Measure the full width and height of the pane first, then work out how many strips you need.
Pick Black or White to match the frame, the room or the look you want.
Black reads as a tinted screen. It gives the strongest contrast against bright daylight and tends to disappear against dark frames.
White reads lighter and softer. It blends with white frames and pale walls, and it keeps the window looking clean from the street side.
Both colors use the same mesh weave and the same semi privacy effect. The choice is about how the window looks from inside and out, not about how much light comes through.
Start with clean glass. Wipe the pane with a mild soapy solution, then dry it so no dust or grease is left behind. Dust is the main reason film lifts at the edges.
Measure the pane and cut the film about 1 in (2.5 cm) larger than the glass on each side. A little extra gives you room to trim a straight edge once the film is down.
Peel back a few inches of the backing at the top corner. Press that strip onto the glass and smooth it with your hand or a squeegee, working from the center out toward the edges. Keep peeling the backing away in small sections as you go, and keep smoothing. This pushes air out ahead of the film instead of trapping it.
Once the whole sheet is down, run a squeegee or a soft cloth over the surface again. Then trim the overhang with a sharp blade along the frame or the edge of the glass. Small air bubbles often settle within a few days. If one stays put, lift that corner, lay it back down and smooth it again.
The film is removable. Warm the surface with a hair dryer on low if you want to loosen the adhesive, then peel slowly from a corner.
Use it on flat glass in the home or the office: living room windows, bedroom windows, kitchen glass, bathroom panes, glass doors and fixed panels. It is a good fit for a window that takes direct sun and makes a screen or a seat uncomfortable, or for a street-facing pane where you want less of a view in without losing the light.
It is not made for curved glass, and it is not a blackout product. If you want the room dark, this is not the film for that. If you want glare cut down and the view softened, it is.
Once it is on the glass, treat it like a window. Wipe it with a soft cloth and mild soapy water. Skip abrasive pads, scouring powder and strong solvents, since they can dull the mesh surface. A squeegee or a microfiber cloth keeps it clear without any scrubbing.
No. It has a self-adhesive backing, so you peel the liner and press it onto clean glass. No paste, no water spray and no special tools.
It gives semi privacy. The mesh blocks glare and softens the view, so it is harder to see in, but it is not a full blackout and light still passes through.
Each pack has 1 roll measuring 17.7 x 78.7 in (45 x 200 cm). For wider glass, line up two or more rolls side by side and butt the edges together.
Yes. It is made for flat single or double glazing, which covers most home windows and glass doors. It is not intended for curved glass.
